So who am I?
I hold many titles. Artist. Mother. Wife. Friend. Creative.
I am an abstract painter living and working in Arroyo Grande, where I grew up. With the sea at my doorstep, my work is largely influenced by water: the motion, the energy, and the sound all playing a large role what is translated to the finished piece.
Stories are told in overlapping layers, marks, illustration, and paper collage, creating a visual language that seeks to express a moment or memory suspended in time. I paint to remember.
I live with my husband and son, our two dachshunds, and our eight chickens. My work is created in my backyard studio underneath a giant oak tree and within earshot of my son's laughter.
